Installation + Refinishing
White oak. Two floors. One feeling.

The brief, in detail
For this Park Ridge home, Ace installed five-inch white-oak flooring throughout the first and second floors. A pale finishing direction brings out the natural grain. The floating stairs were refinished using the same process, connecting new work with the existing home.

White oak provides the foundation for a pale, grain-led floor. The five-inch boards give each room a clear direction without overwhelming the rest of the interior.
The installation extended through the first and second floors. Continuity was part of the brief, bringing the same material language to the home’s everyday spaces.
The project also included refinishing the floating stairs with the same process. It is a useful example of how new installation and work to an existing feature can belong to one plan.
